Sounds like you ate really well o...Great write up! Sounds like you ate really well on your journey - I couldn't fathom riding 8 miles out of the way to get more food. Its amazing the level of support (trail angel stations) that there are now...a cold unexpected Mountain Dew would have done wonders! Us crazy folks who try to push through the night non-stop miss most of the good stores (Bacon/Cheese grits at Van Zandts!!) and have to subsist on unappealing ride and c-store food.
