Blanket's Creek

Goodness, where does the time go?

Like a month and a half ago, I was riding at Blanket's Creek and Rope Mill after work, as I often do. That's not usually interesting enough to write about, but this one time, in particular, it was.

Interesting thing number one:

Looked like a young Black Rat Snake. It was small, and it still had a lot of distinct markings.

Interesting thing number two:

To a crisp!

I found this while exploring some of the old WMA trails between Blanket's and Rope Mill, over by the water park. Note the bones lying around on the ground, in the fire. Bones! Not a whole skeleton, just a couple of bones.

Creepy.
