Local rides aren't usually worth journalling, but a while back, as I rode into North Cooper Lake Park, I noticed that the bit of land that has been for sale for ages must finally have been purchased.
The old blockhouse was gone, and the trees were cut clear back to the old antenna. Interestingly, it appeared that the trail was still intact, running through the woods just past the boundary of the cut. I meant to verify that it was still there on the way out, but I forgot and didn't have the energy to go back when I remembered.
I'll be interested to see what they do about the old antenna.
