Earlier this month, The Tour de France kept me away from the lake. I guarantee no fisherman in the US has ever said those words. Not that I can really call myself a fisherman yet. Last week the weather sucked. Today I got home at 7. The kids wanted to watch a new episode of iCarly, so we did that, then, finally, at length, we went fishing.

We went to this spot I'd had good luck at before, but today our luck wasn't so good. It was cool, windy and wavy. Sophie managed to catch a little bream with one eye. Weird.
It was pretty though. Lightning flashed from storms receding to the east.

The lights on the powerhouse were soft and calm.

Nice way to end the day.
